Enjoy 25-30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, then stay to make a craft that goes along with the stories. Preschool storytime is recommended for children and their caregivers who are able to sit still for longer stories to develop school readiness; this is generally children ages 3.5-5 years old. Each session in the same week is a repeat event; participants are asked to limit attendance to one session per week.

Registration is required once for the month and opens on August 14. ONE registration will get you signed up for all of the month's sessions: September 6, 13, 20 & 27.

Ages listed for storytimes are a general guideline, as particularly in these first years, children develop skills at different ages. If you have children in more than one storytime age group, it is usually recommended to start by attending the program for the younger child. Please visit with our youth services staff before or after a storytime program to determine the program that will best fit you and your children. You can also email our youth services staff with additional questions.

If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell in any way, please help prevent the spread of illness by limiting your library use to online and curbside services only until all are feeling better.
