The Waukee Public Library and Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation are currently accepting limited book donations. Donated items may be used in the Library's collection, sold in the Book Nook, or sold at one of the WPL Friends Foundation book sales. We accept cash or check, which can be placed in the blue drop box on the right side of the Book Nook shelves. The Library is unable to donate books to other organizations.

Accepted:

• Adult Books three years old or newer in good sellable condition – Fiction titles only (mystery, romance, westerns, graphic novels, etc)
• Any Children’s Books in good condition
• Audiobooks in good condition

Will not accept:

• Books older than three years
• Nonfiction titles
• Magazines
• Comic books
• DVDs, VHS tapes, and CDs
• Textbooks
• Technology Books
• Encyclopedias
