No time to attend an evening or weekend program? Try our Snacks & Facts series! We’ll have a speaker the first Friday of each month at the Waukee Community Center (675 Walnut St). Come ready to learn and we’ll provide the snacks! Stick around afterward for Waukee Parks & Recreation’s bingo at 1 PM.

Learn about the accessibility and many benefits of yoga for your physical and mental health from certified yoga instructor Jolene De Bruijn—followed by a chair yoga session. This class is seated and accessible to a variety of mobility levels! If you cannot stand for long periods of time or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to laying positions, this gentle class is a great option. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes. No experience necessary.
