"Ice Works 2023" - Jody Boyer
August 3 - September 1, 2023

Exhibition Description:

The works of art in the series "Ice Works" investigate domesticity, climate change, and human crisis on a metaphoric and visceral level. Each sculpture is constructed of ephemeral materials that disintegrate before my eyes, the only remnants of their existence are captured by my camera: decorative glassware designed for celebration, a world frozen in ice, loss, the fleeting existence of fragile cut flowers, grief and the passing of time are all embedded in the eye-candy of these sculptural still-life photographs.
