Exhibition Description:

The focus of Anna Conway’s watercolors is primarily florals, landscapes and nature subjects. As an artist, Anna is always inspired to grab her watercolors when she sees nature’s beauty, be it after walking on the Neal Smith trail in Iowa, or purchasing a flower bouquet from Trader Joes. In her paintings, Anna encourages a closer examination of ordinary landscape scenes by discovering the vibrancy of color, flow of shapes, and texture of the backgrounds. Sometimes Anna paints from imagination, trying to convey what she feels; having watercolors at hand allows her to continue her journey of exploring herself as well as her artistic voice.
