Exhibition Description:

Troy has been creating his Pattern series and Color Repetition paintings since 1990—this exhibit is just a small selection of the 3,000+ pattern paintings in this body of work. Troy says, “I liked the way wallpaper repeated colors. I started repeating colors in Watercolor and moved on to Oil on Canvas. When I was a child, my mother gave me some wallpaper samples to play with and make collage art, this is probably where the Pattern series all started.”
