    Can you survive the Oregon Trail? Join us for a thrilling live-action adventure based on the classic video game. With limited supplies and just your wits to guide you, every decision could make or break you. Will your team make it to the end, or will the trail claim another victim? 

    For adults ages 18+.

    Adults ages 18+ are invited to drop-in anytime between 10-11:30 AM to play a fun and friendly game of Rummikub! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, all skill levels are welcome.

    Do you feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with your calendar? In this class, we’ll learn how the email and calendar apps can be used as tools to stay active and engaged. We will also take a look at the functions of the clock app.

      Drop-in to create fused-bead designs based on your favorite Pokémon, which you can turn into magnets, keychains, and more! Elementary-aged students should be accompanied by an adult.

      Take a color run to the next level and challenge your friends to color tag! Participants should wear a white shirt that will become colorful by the end of the event. You could also wear any clothing you don’t mind getting stained with colors. If you are sensitive to dust, you may wish to wear a face mask during this event. Masks will be available. In the case of inclement weather, alternative indoor games will be played.

      Dr. Gayle Curtis of Whispers Healing will share a beginner-friendly workshop introducing the tarot deck. This short introduction will give you an overview of the cards, a look behind the veil of mystery that has surrounded tarot, and some insight into understanding the art of reading the cards. 

      For adults ages 18+.

      Drop-in to create clay characters based on your favorite cartoon, which you can turn into keychains, rings, magnets and more! Elementary-aged students should be accompanied by an adult.

      During this hour, enjoy designated quiet browsing and inclusive programming for individuals with special sensory needs and their families or caregivers. There will be a dimmed calm room, natural lighting, computer availability, and access to library materials. 

      This month, supplies for creating clay characters will be available.

      Visit the Waukee Public Library booth at the Waukee Arts Festival in Centennial Park! We’ll have a free craft available for all ages.

      Gather a team of up to four and put your skills to the test in this high-speed puzzle competition! Each group will tackle the same 500-piece puzzle, racing against the clock and each other to be the first to finish. Bragging rights are up for grabs. Do you have what it takes to claim victory?
