Secretary
Lela Scott joined the Waukee Library Board of Trustees in July 2024. Lela Scott, originally from Iowa, moved to Waukee with her family in 2020. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Creighton University. As a nonprofit leader, Lela is dedicated to serving children and fostering future leaders. She values family time and maintains a tradition of Sunday dinners with her loved ones. In her free time, Lela enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends. She is the Managing Director at BrokerTech Ventures and also serves on the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors.
