    Call the Dial-a-Story phone line at (515) 981-7800 any time to hear a selection of books and songs prerecorded by library staff. New stories are available on the first of each month.

    A fun take-home project available for pick up the first week of each month. Packs come with most of the needed supplies to take home and make. This month, kids will make Super Puffs.

    For kids entering grades K-5 in the fall. 

    Registration is required.

    Any packs that are unclaimed by the end of the designated pickup dates will be available for pickup at the library on a first come, first-served basis while supplies last.

    This exhibit showcases mini masterpieces created by our library patrons! Celebrate our community’s artistic talents and see how they’ve leveled up their creativity in this Tiny Art Show! This month’s gallery features art by adults, ages 18+.

    The Art Gallery is open Monday-Friday 9 AM-3 PM, Saturday 9 AM-12 PM, and Sunday 12-4 PM. If the meeting room is in use, the gallery will be closed to the public. Want to visit at a certain time? Call the Library at (515) 978-7944 to check availability.

    Come and improve your English skills to be better prepared for the next school year. These classes are for very beginning English language learners. Students are encouraged to attend each week for best results. Caregivers do not need to stay in the room during this program, but they should be available in the library.
